Plastic film (Polypropylene film) is a very thin plastic. Generally, films are used as barriers; they keep dirt, germs, liquids or gases on one side of the film. Nearly any plastic can be made in film form. Plastic film is one of the most versatile packaging materials. It is economical due to its low density and is replacing other materials, such as polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, and cellophane, in packaging applications. Plastic films are highly used in food packaging applications; other applications include film packaging for stationery products, cigarettes, textiles, construction industries, garbage disposal and so on.

Dantata Plastic’s inner liners and covers are used to protect raw materials from a container that might be harmful to the product being stored, transported, or processed. These liners fit inside sacks, corrugated boxes, fiberglass, metal and plastic containers. They cover the bottom and sides of the box in heavy-duty polyethylene plastic. Our low-density liners are available in a range of sizes and thicknesses and can be expediently stored. They are neatly perforated and come in easy-to-dispense rolls. Our plastic liners are manufactured using Prime Virgin resins and have many industrial bulk processing applications. They are used commonly in the packaging of:

  • Foods

  • Coatings

  • Compounds

  • Pharmaceutical Products

  • Powdered Products

  • Resins

  • Many others . . .

A plastic bag, polybag, or pouch is a type of container made of thin, flexible, plastic film, non-woven fabric, or plastic textile. Plastic bags are used for containing and transporting goods such as foods, produce, powders, ice, magazines, chemicals, and waste. It is a common form of packaging. Plastic bags with carrying handles are used in large numbers. Grocery stores and supermarkets often provide them as a convenience to shoppers.

A bin bag or bin liner or garbage bag, or trash bag is a disposable bag used to contain rubbish, trash or garbage. Such bags are useful to line the insides of waste containers to prevent the insides of the container from becoming coated in waste material. Most bags these days are made out of plastic, and are typically black in color.

Plastic waste bags are a convenient and sanitary way of handling garbage, and are widely used. Plastic garbage bags are fairly lightweight and are particularly useful for messy or wet rubbish, as is commonly the case with food waste, and are also useful for wrapping up garbage to minimize odour. Plastic bags are often used for lining litter or waste containers or bins. This serves to keep the container sanitary by avoiding container contact with the garbage. After the bag in the container is filled with litter, the bag can be pulled out by its edges, closed, and tied with minimal contact with the waste matter.
